By car:
From south/centre via Milan: drive along the "tangenziale est " in Milan, towards Vimercate, up to its end, Usmate.
Then drive along the Strada Statale 36 Milan-Lecco-Colico, then, after Colico, go with the Strada Statale 38 through Morbegno-Sondrio-Tirano up to Bormio.
From west via Milan: fromt he Milan-Varese motorway, at the Milan toll drive along the Milan-Venice motorway towards Venice up to the exit Sesto San Giovanni. Follow the signposts to Lecco, follow on along the Strada Statale 36 Milan-Lecco-Colico, then the Statale 38 up to Bormio.
From east via Brescia: from the motorway Venice-Milan, exit at Brescia Ovest, drive along the bypass towards Lago d'Iseo up to the end and then take the SS 510 towards Iseo-Boario-Darfo. Take the SS 42 towards Edolo. When you reach Edolo, take the SS 39 through the Aprica pass, and once in Tirano, go on up to Bormio. Aprica Pass m 1176, always open. |
